The Immunity Enemy: “OS”

The Immunity Enemy: “OS”

Introducing TurmiZn-OS™ — Fighting Free Radicals That Cause Oxidative Stress,

and Many Immunity Concerns.

The human body has a remarkable immune system that defends against disease, which is led by the common enemy known as “Oxidative Stress.” Poor nutrition and unhealthy lifestyles weaken the immune system’s levels of defense against the enemy’s warriors known as “Free Radicals” or reactive oxygen species (ROS). When under attack, the weakened immune system is vulnerable to a myriad of health problems including premature aging, bacterial or virus infections, Diabetes, cardiovascular disease, Alzheimer’s, macular degeneration (vision loss), prostate inflammation, and numerous others including Cancer.

Fortunately, antioxidants are molecules that fight Free Radicals to inhibit oxidation of cells. Antioxidants combat the free radicals by donating an electron to the free radical transforming it into a stable molecule. (See Diagram.)

The body produces some inherent antioxidants, such as Glutathione, but obtaining antioxidants from the diet or supplements can help reduce oxidative stress to help the immune system. Science shows an increased intake of antioxidant rich foods can enhance the body’s ability to minimize the health risk due to free radical damage (Ighodaro 2018).  Note that not all antioxidants have the same power. There are a number of compounds with antioxidant properties such as phenols, flavonoids, and carotenoids. But the latest research shows Curcuminoids, derived from Turmeric, have outstanding antioxidant capabilities.

Two of the most interesting Curcuminoids being researched is Curcumin and Tetrahydrocurcumin, which come from the Turmeric plant, and commonly used as a spice in Indian foods. Numerous studies show Curcumin has excellent antioxidant activity. Tetrahydrocurcumin is a metabolite of Curcumin that has even better antioxidant ability than Curcumin. The problem with Curcumin is it suffers from poor bioavailability and stability and thus has limited benefit in the fight against oxidative stress. However, it was discovered that when Curcumin gets bonded with certain metal ions such as Zinc, the stability and bioavailability dramatically increase and thus serve as a powerful antioxidant. The concept that curcuminoid-metal complexes may be a step forward in antioxidant research is starting to emerge. Research indicates that curcumin-metal complexes can show better anti-oxidative capability than Curcumin alone  (Hieu 2019). The metal Zinc seems to have the best ability to enhance antioxidant activity when bonded to Curcumin. This is due Zinc’s ability to stabilize the Curcumin throughout digestion better than other metals.

Scientists at 24hr Supplement have created a breakthrough molecule that utilizes arguably the most powerful antioxidants available by combining Curcumin with Zinc and Tetrahydrocurcumin into a triple molecule complex, called TurmiZn-OSTM.

This new complex allows for up to a 65 x increase in antioxidant capacity compared to Curcumin alone while also increasing its bioavailability and stability. This means the body absorbs more of the antioxidant properties throughout digestion, fighting off free radicals throughout the day.

With increased stability and bioavailability, TurmiZn-OSTM allows for the amazing antioxidant powers of Curcumin, Tetrahydrocurcumin and Zinc to deliver the promised beneficial health effects in a vastly improved manner. This single ingredient, which is virtually tasteless and odorless, becomes a highly practical ingredient to add to daily supplements and in functional foods and beverages. In turn, the human body will be able to fight off the stresses of oxidation and infiltration of free radicals that cause disease, inflammation and other age-related conditions to maintain normal health.

The result of this breakthrough is that TurmiZn-OS™ is a premier antioxidant that defends against disease-causing microorganisms and other sources of stress on the immune system. The ultimate consequences of oxidative stress include tissue damage, inflammation responses, and cell death. But TurmiZn-OS™ can play a major role in the war against free radicals and oxidative stress through the promise of enabling the immune system to benefit from Curcumin, Zinc and Tetrahydrocurcumin in a superior manner.
